Engaging students in shaping writing skills is challenging and often daunting work. They are reluctant to write papers, despite our effort to create interesting tasks. Skills that are to be mastered in this way are, after all, required on exams. How to motivate them? How to help them develop the competence of editing and creating texts?
We will try to find the answers to these questions during the workshop. The purpose of the meeting is not only to popularise creative teaching methods, but also to provide ready-made solutions for use in the teacher's daily work.

Teacher trainer – who is he?
James Wilson-Bukowski has been engaged in teaching and education for more than ten years in the UK, Poland and Slovakia, and is an experienced teacher, presenter and specialist in the Cambridge English exams field. He has presented at numerous conferences and events within the ELT field and has worked for British Council since 2016. He has particular interests in teaching pronunciation, teaching for exams and teacher development.
