The XXXIII Ars Cameralis Festival is about to begin and that means a November filled with concerts, literary meetings, workshops and exhibitions. An important part of the Festival's program will be two screenings of BAFTA 2024 Shorts organized in cooperation with the British Council and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Once again we invite you to spend time with the best British filmmakers.
The screenings will take place on November 18th and 25th at the House of Education of the Silesian Library in Katowice. The film programme includes eight extraordinary feature and animated shorts which tell stories of Laila's first burqa, life cycle of wild salmon, a boy in the world of adults, joy of knitting and crocheting, an unexpected discovery at a care home, taking responsibility for your actions and words, Gorka's adventure abroad and friendship with a crab. Each story reveals in a different way how in the life of each creature there comes a time when it has to decide who it really wants to be.
