Long distance learners can sit their University of London exams with the British Council and complete their degrees without leaving Poland. 

How to register for the University of London examinations

Follow these steps to complete your registration:

Step 1

Visit the website of the University of London and register for the dates of exams scheduled there. 

Step 2

Pay the administration examination fee to the British Council account at the Bank Handlowy S.A. The bank details are:

In the REFERENCE section of your payment please write: [Exam Name/Centre Name/Candidate’s Name and Surname/date of exam]
e.g. University of London/KRA/PAWEŁ KOMAR/7/01/13

The fee is:

  • 415 PLN per exam if you take one or two exams in one session
  • 290 PLN per exam if you  take three or more exams in one session

* candidates taking the University of London examination have to pay in addition to the examination administration fee paid outlined in the above instructions, an examination fee to the University of London account. Detailed information about which can be found on the website of the University of London.

Step 3

By the deadline set by the University of London you should fill in the registration form and submit it along with proof of payment to the British Council office in person, by post or e-mail to the following address:

The registration form is available on the website of the University of London

After receiving all the documents we will be able to provide you with a validation code which is necessary to complete the registration process in university's system. 

Information about the venue and time of the exam will be sent to candidates by e-mail approximately two weeks before the test date.
