Course overview

Price: 1190 PLN 

Duration: Monday–Friday. It is possible to drop children off from 8.30 a.m. and pick them up by 4.30 p.m.  

Age: 9–11 years

Levels: Beginner to Upper Intermediate (A1–B2)

What is Minecraft: Education Edition?

A game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem solving in an immersive, digital environment. Educators in over 115 countries are using Minecraft: Education Edition across the curriculum.

What skills will the students develop?

Students will not only develop their language skills, but a range of 21st century skills. Some examples include:

  • Digital Literacy – by using a range of hardware, developing the language necessary to use and explain this hardware, as well as coding skills as part of the ‘Hour of code’ challenge
  • Creativity – Students can use Minecraft to express themselves by creating a range of items, landscapes and buildings
  • Global Citizenship – students can learn about the effects of deforestation and the global sustainable development goals through the game, and explore and share ways of making the world a better place  
  • Collaboration – students can explore and interact with virtual environments and work together to complete tasks and projects and give presentations as a team.

Are there any technical requirements for the course?

While the course is delivered as face-to-face, we will provide each child with a computer or tablet ensuring they can access the programme.
