DESIGN STORIES ŁÓDŹ — A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON LOCALITY 
Panel discussion and launch of the publication ‘Design Stories Warsaw: Practices of Responsibility’ 

We cordially invite you to a panel discussion organised as part of the Polish Design Forum, themed ‚Locality'. Invited experts and moderators from SWPS University in Warsaw and the Royal College of Art in London will explore what local design means in an increasingly interconnected world.   

The discussion will be based on the post-conference publication “Design Stories Warsaw: Practices of Responsibility”. The publication contains fifteen papers presented and discussed during the “Design Stories Warsaw” conference (20–21 November 2025). Topics include social challenges, narration through materials, museum practices, and pedagogy. 

The project forms part of a collaboration between SWPS University in Warsaw and the Royal College of Art in London, supported by the British Council as part of the ‘UK/Poland Season 2025 Legacy’ programme.  

When: 9 October 2026 
Where: Łódź Art Centre, 3 Tymienieckiego Street, Łódź; as part of the Polish Design Forum "Locality". Special event currently being organised.
