Crystal Pite’s Body and Soul (Part 1) is a hypnotic work that presents variations on a theme of conflict. Set to the soundtrack of Owen Balton’s original music, Frederic Chopin’s Preludes and French narration, this work explores conflict and connectedness through a series of duets. Duets between two individuals, two groups, two systems. Duets between body and soul.
William Forsythe’s Playlist (EP) combines ballet classicism and athleticism with an unexpected soundtrack of pop, r’n’b and house – including Barry White and Natalie Cole. The result? Pure joy! It will leave you “with a great giddy grin on your face” (The Telegraph).
