2K88 + Rainy Miller + Lauren Duffus + Bianca Scout

Polish experimental music producer Przemysław Jankowiak (aka 2K88), who  conspicuously re-contextualized '90s and '00s Polish rap with contemporary soundsystem logic on last year's Unsound-released 'SHAME', moves into new territory for this exclusive live collaboration. Reaching across the continent to the UK, he locks eyes with three like-minded innovators: Preston's Rainy Miller and London-based artists Lauren Duffus and Bianca Scout.

A dancer as well as a producer, Scout masterminds surreal, narrative-led performances that feed directly into her acclaimed run of albums like 2023's 'The Heart of the Anchoress' and last year’s balletic 'Pattern Damage'. Miller meanwhile has spent the last few years defining a unique "Northern Gothic" aesthetic that's as open minded as it is open hearted, blending drill, folk music and industrial noise. And Lewisham's Duffus, who burst onto the scene in 2021 with 'SULK', navigates complex emotional landscapes with her sci-fi tinged R&B-adjacent ambient pop.

As part of the Ephemera festival, the musicians will perform on June 12 at the Komuna Warszawa stage to celebrate the release of their collaborative debut album, Everything Always Changes, For We’re Truly Here. The record is a blend of smoky, emotionally charged vocals, hazy sonic landscapes, and measured beats, and is set to be released jointly by Unsound and Fixed Abode on July 9 in digital format, followed shortly thereafter by a vinyl edition.
