Shakespeare’s Globe on Screen is a series of William Shakespeare’s works, performed and registered at The Globe theatre in London. Reconstructed according to the original project, the venue has no roof, with actors performing outdoors and most of the audience standing. Performances reflect the atmosphere of the London theatre in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, including costumes and decorations. The only exception to the rule is that female characters are played by women, not men.
Macbeth is one of the most often performed plays by William Shakespeare and considered one of his darkest and most powerful works.
