Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Innocent Lies) star in a five-star production of Arthur Miller’s classic play, directed by visionary Ivo van Hove (A View from the Bridge), which has been enthusiastically received by critics and audiences alike.
The play transports viewers to the golden age of the American Dream. Joe makes substantial profits from the war, but is forced to pay a heavy price when his business partner is accused of production negligence, and his eldest son is reported missing in action at the front. Will the peacetime bring him peace of mind, or will he have to face the consequences of his actions?
This unsettlingly prophetic play, recorded live at the West End, also features Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You), Tom Glynn-Carney (House of the Dragon), and Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake).
