Virginia Woolf defied literary conventions to depict rich inner worlds—layered, startling and deeply moving realities seen through her own lens. Resident choreographer Wayne McGregor leads an outstanding creative team in evoking Woolf’s signature stream-of-consciousness style in this expansive work, which rejects traditional narrative structures. Woolf Works is a collage of themes from Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, The Waves and other writings by Woolf.
Created in 2015 for The Royal Ballet, this Olivier Award-winning ballet triptych captures the essence of Woolf’s extraordinary artistic spirit.
