Our Commitment to SEND Support
We’re committed to inclusive teaching and ensuring that every learner can thrive. We make the necessary adjustments for students with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities so they can fully participate and succeed in our classes.
Our dedicated SEND Coordinator works closely with students, parents and teachers to provide tailored guidance. They help identify learner needs, advise teachers on appropriate classroom strategies, and monitor the support provided throughout the course. The coordinator also collaborates with our Academic Team to ensure that best practice is followed consistently across all centres.
How We Support Teachers
All teachers receive ongoing guidance from both our Academic Team and our SEND Coordinator. This includes:
- Practical strategies for adapting lessons and materials
- Support with classroom management and differentiation
- Training sessions on inclusive teaching and recognising learner needs
- One-to-one consultations where teachers can discuss concerns or request personalised advice
This ensures that teachers feel confident, supported, and equipped to give every student the best possible learning experience.
How Parents Can Support Us
Partnership with parents is essential. The sooner we are informed about a child’s specific needs, the better we can plan appropriate support. Sharing information about diagnoses, learning profiles, previous school support or any concerns helps us:
- Prepare teachers with the right strategies
- Make reasonable adjustments from day one
- Provide additional support from our SEND Coordinator or Learning Assistants where appropriate
- Ensure your child feels comfortable, confident and included
We treat all information you share with absolute confidentiality. Details about your child’s needs are only shared on a strict need-to-know basis. This ensures privacy while allowing us to provide the right level of support.
Open, honest communication enables us to create a safe and supportive learning environment where your child can truly thrive.
