Unsound x Selector After Dark – Residency & Showcase - Bianca Scout, Lauren Duffus, Rainy Miller and 2K88
Friday 10 October, at midnight
In 2025, Unsound Festival will bring together four artists to create a new work, all of them influenced in different ways by UK club music and culture.
Three are from the UK: Bianca Scout, whose work hovers between ambient, pop, and experimental music; Lauren Duffus, an elusive vocalist known for her blend of R&B and deconstructed club sounds; and Rainy Miller, rooted in the storytelling and performance traditions of the Northwest England's underground scene.
They will be joined by Gdańsk, producer 2K88, whose music straddles rap and the UK’s hardcore continuum, with a local Polish touch. During a summer residency in Gdańsk, the four collaborated on a new piece and performance, which will be presented at Unsound Festival’s KNOTS club night at Hotel Forum, in The Ballroom on Friday 10 October, starting at midnight sharp.

Drift by Harry Górski-Brown and Wojciech Rusin
Sunday 12 October, 19:30
The Unsound closing concerts at Kraków’s Philharmonic Hall begin with Harry Górski-Brown and Wojciech Rusin’s Unsound-commissioned work Drift. Initiated at Warsaw’s Ephemera Festival as a sunrise concert, the collaboration will evolve tonight with the inclusion of string players from Sinfonietta Cracovia. They are followed by the legendary experimental musician and composer Joan La Barbara, perhaps the most prominent vocalist of the classical avant garde. Featured on works by Philip Glass, John Cage, Morton Feldman and Steve Reich, to name but a few, she revolutionised the use of the voice in classical music. Canadian composer Kara-Lis Coverdale closes. As part of a year in which she released three different albums, tonight's show will center around piano works from A Series of Actions in a Sphere of Forever, framed by Sinfonietta Cracovia performing Coverdale’s orchestral compositions.

Harry Górski-Brown & Wojciech Rusin, co-commissioned by Abandon Normal Devices and Unsound, supported by the British Council under the UK/Poland Season 2025.
