11-15 June 2025 - Ephemera Festival
15 June 2025 - At Dawn Concert at the Królikarnia Sculpture Park in Warsaw
The magical time of Ephemera festival in Warsaw wouldn’t be complete without the ongoing collaboration with the curators of the “W Brzask” sunrise series. In 2025, Ephemera is not only joining forces with them, but also Manchester’s Abandon Normal Devices, to celebrate the earliest sunrises of the year, as well as theUK/Poland Season 2025. The program includes artists whose work blends diverse musical and performative genres.
On June 15th, as the first rooster crows in the sculpture park, Warsaw’s Andrzej Sławomir Kiełbowicz will perform on a saw, utilising this everyday tool as a musical instrument, including compositions by Penderecki as well as classic Polish pop.
He’ll be followed by Bianca Scout, whose unique approach to music production intertwines with movement and performance. For this special show, she will invite a group of a dozen or so participants to take part in a free workshop and perform alongside her at dawn.
Later in the morning, we’ll present a commissioned piece by Harry Górski-Brown, a Scottish composer and experimental bagpipe player (some of you may remember his performance at last year’s Unsound), and Wojciech Rusin, the Polish UK-based composer who moves fluidly between medieval music, alchemical atmospheres and cutting-edge electronic experimentation.
Of course, dawn at Królikarnia wouldn’t be complete without a DJ set in the meadow in front of the Palace. Joining forces for a b2b meeting are kacha – known from the band Coals – and felicita, a British-Polish producer affiliated with the PC Music label.
Tickets for this event are already available via the website of the National Museum — the co-organiser. Admission is also included with the Ephemera festival pass.
W Brzask is supported by the British Council under the UK/Poland Season 2025.
