Shaped by legends and fueled by a new wave of talent, Polish Jazz will come to London for the first time with a multi-venue festival showcasing top artists at iconic venues such as Cadogan Hall, Kings Place and Soho's PizzaExpress Jazz Club.
The idea behind the festival is to promote the diverse and unique Polish jazz scene at the highest artistic level in cosmopolitan London, which is the European epicenter of the genre's music.
The concerts will take place in legendary halls that regularly attract international audiences consisting of London's multicultural population as well as tourists from all over the world. For each concert by a Polish artist, British and foreign musicians (well-known as well as young talents) have been invited to collaborate to create an opportunity for the clash and osmosis of musical cultures. This will create unique musical improvisations, mutual inspiration, and potential collaborations.
