The Adam Mickiewicz Institute, in collaboration with the London Sinfonietta, has organized a program for the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (hcmf//) to celebrate the long-lasting and fruitful artistic relations between Poland and the UK. This year’s edition will feature the premiere of a new composition by the renowned Polish composer: Marta Śniady.
The program will also showcase works by young British composers, highlighting the importance of international collaboration and inclusivity in contemporary music. The project aims to promote Polish contemporary music on one of the UK’s most prestigious platforms, while fostering dialogue between emerging artists from both Poland and the UK.
