Miłosz Festival is one of the most prominent poetry events in Poland and Central-Eastern Europe. For years it has been a platform for literary creators from different languages and cultures, engaging its audiences with a variety of poetry from all around the world. This year marks the event’s 14th edition, which will take place in Kraków between 30th June and 6th July. Among the international guests, two Scottish authors will present their work: Harry Josephine Giles with a discussion on her book "Deep Wheel Orcadia" and its Polish translation by Krzysztof Bartnicki, and Penny Boxall, who will present her performance "Replaying the Tape", which she worked on during her literary residency in Kraków in Villa Decjus 2023. The rich and diverse programme of the festival will feature discussions, poetry readings, performance pieces, open-word events and poetry slams.
