We are looking for experts  on  SAP Access Basis architecture, who would be able consult, design, develop, integrate and support (second line) SAP Access solutions as enablers for British Council’s global business activities, throughout their service lifecycle, working within a split global team.

Role overview

Main responsibilities  of the post holder:

  • Support the current SAP P2P configuration
  • 2nd level support
  • Analyze and solve SAP P2P issues 
  • Conduct SAP P2P process configuration changes for approved change requests 
  • Update and maintain all SAP P2P functional documentation 
  • Analyze and scope end user authorization roles   
  • Conduct Unit tests and Integration tests 
  • Proactively proposing solutions to improve the support of new and existing business processes 
  • Support the functional team with issues and come up with solutions

We expect:

  • Knowledge of SAP P2P solution capabilities and business process configurations including cross functional integration touch-points 
  • Configuration of master data and be able to guide users on Business Process 
  • Significant, proven customizing experience within SAP P2P 
  • Thorough knowledge of business processes within SAP P2P 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Experience in writing functional requirements / designs 
  • Good knowledge of the English language is mandatory (written and verbal) 
  • The ability to work independently as well as in project teams 

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of standard data migration tools within SAP i.e. LSMW or via Interface 
  • Knowledge of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management technology
  • Understanding of workflow scenarios within SAP P2P
