Date
Wednesday 18 December 2019 to Monday 17 February 2020

Exhibition focuses on contemporary artistic trends that are related to science, particularly neurology and neural engineering, research on artificial intelligence and robotics, synthetic biology and psychology.

Works selected for the exhibition will invite viewers to ponder on contemporary post- and trans-humanistic discourses and their manifestations in the art field. By shedding light on the problems and practices usually represented in scientific circles, the exhibition offers an opportunity to look at the consequences of shifting them to the artistic domain, and thereby to the field of cultural reflection, transforming them into the subject of a multifaceted (aesthetic, cognitive and ethical) analysis. On display will be a broad range of works (installations, interactive installations, performance art, objects, sound and video art).

Artists: Marek Chołoniewski, Chris Cutler, Gina czarnecki, Marco Donnarumma, Urlike Gabriel, Jill Scott, Karolina Żyniewicz

Curator: Ryszard W. Kluszczyński

Opening: 18 December at 6 p.m.

Exhibition is part of Art+Science meeting series
