Watermans Arts Centre (WAC), a key cultural institution in western London, is supported by Arts Council England and local authorities. The centre features an independent cinema, a theater, an art gallery, and hosts popular festivals, exhibitions, and workshops. Since the 2012 London Olympics, Watermans has also had the only permanent outdoor theater space in the UK, regularly hosting theatrical performances, music events, and festivals.
In 2025, one of the major highlights at WAC will be the Outdoor Polish Theatre Festival, featuring 16 performances by 8 Polish theater companies. This exciting event will run over consecutive weekends in September (Friday - Saturday - Sunday), beginning on September 5. Audiences can enjoy free admission to all performances, making it an accessible cultural experience for all.
The festival will showcase performances by renowned Polish companies such as Teatr Studio, Teatr Ósmego Dnia, Teatr Biuro Podróży, and Teatr KTO. The curator of the event is Jan Lennox, who will oversee the festival's dynamic lineup of performances, bringing Poland’s rich theatrical traditions to the stage in the heart of London.
