‘Back to Front Truths’ – an exhibition by Nick Thurston

Nick Thurston is a writer and editor who makes artworks. He has exhibited internationally and his work is held in public and private collections in Europe and North America. He was Writer in Residence at the Whitechapel Gallery (London), Artist in Residence at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (Dublin), and Visiting Research Fellow in Contemporary Writing at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia). He teaches at the University of Leeds, England.

Back to Front Truths exhibition  by the UK artist Nick Thurston is developed with Katarzyna Krysiak, Director of Foksal Gallery, and Matthew Feldman, Professor of Contemporary History at Teesside University. This so called 'Hate Library' will be an exhibition and working public reference library that combines wallpapers, books and collage in a sculptural installation set-up for reading, discussion and disagreement. 

Opening: 29 June 2017 at 18.00. The exhibition is on display till 25 August 2017

The exhibition, as a public library, will serve as a space for reading, discussing and responding to the material brought offline.
