New Horizons Studio+ 2017 in Wrocław
New Horizons Studio+ involves four days of workshops and lectures on various aspects related to the promotion and development of film projects. Its main task is to provide young professionals with knowledge about the international film market, while also helping them plan their career paths both in Poland and abroad.
This year's New Horizons Studio+ will focus on key topics related to communication and promoting both projects and filmmakers. Participants will have an opportunity to establish new industry contacts and further develop their projects. The programme is also intended to help raise awareness of a film's potential and of the director and producer's shared and individual professional goals.
The British Council is a partner of this project. It will include an open lecture by a film industry expert Mark Lautman from Intermission Film, called Film Trailers. The event will take place on 8 August, at 14.00 in Arthotel in Wrocław (registration required http://kreatywna-europa.eu). Mark Lautman will talk about the art of creating film trailers.
The event is a part of the British Council’s initiative Creativity Talks – creative sectors’ meetings during important festivals and industry events.
