Before you book an IELTS test, you’ll need to have the following items ready:
- A valid identification document (identity card or passport):
- original and valid passport or national national ID card if you are a EU citizen
- original and valid passport only if you are a non-EU candidate or you are applying for IELTS for UKVI or IELTS for UKVI Life Skills
Your ID must be valid at the time of booking and on the test day. If you're under 18, your parents will need to register online on your behalf. IELTS is not recommended for anyone under 16.
- A credit/debit card to pay through our online booking system. You can pay for your test online via online payment system, through Przelewy24 portal, with your payment card or e-Wallet (Apple Pay or Google Pay).
IMPORTANT! Please pay the required exam fee according to the instructions given in the registration system within 1 hour of generating link with instructions to a payment portal.
Important registration information for IELTS on paper
If you’re not officially a resident in Poland, you will not be able to sit an IELTS on paper test. However, you can still take the test on computer, so please do choose that option.
Already booked an IELTS on Paper test and you do not hold Polish nationality?
You will need to provide proof of residence by email at least three days before your test date unless you are a passport holder of an EU/EEA/Switzerland country. Passport holders from these countries are entitled to freedom of movement within the European Union and are not required to provide proof of residency.
Acceptable proof of residence includes:
- Local Residence Permit
- A valid Student Visa (stating purpose, length of visa, and expiry date) stamped in the passport.
- A valid Work Permit (2 documents):
- Visa (stating status and expiry) stamped in the passport.
- Work Permit card (showing expiry date).
